Productive Day

Don't you just love it when you have a productive day?

Today was a productive one. I don't mean just a generally productive day. Like the kind where the house is clean and tidy at the end of the day (because mine isn't right now). I'm talking about the kind where you are able to cross something off of your long list of projects that need to be done around the house.

I finally painted the ceiling in our guest/play room. The ceiling is vaulted in that room and the task was just a little daunting. I told myself that I was going to do it today, and I did it. Thanks to my husband who kept Rigley out of the room and away from the paint. I think he was okay with it because he got to watch college football. He also would come in and help me by holding the ladder so that I could stand at the very top platform and reach the crevices of the twelve foot ceiling.

This means I only have four more ceilings to paint (master bedroom, master bathroom, laundry room and garage). I like my ceilings to be white. I also need to paint the walls in all of those areas and also the guest/play room. Maybe I'll get it all done before the holidays. We'll see.

*I am so sad that I have been absent from my blog for so long. Because of a recent experience that I have had, I am going to try to take some of the time and energy that I put into facebook and put it into the blog. Don't get me wrong, I love facebook. I will still be on there, just not as much.
