Growing Up

No, the title of the post is not about Harper. Although she is growing up really fast and I can't seem to slow her down. Any mothers out there with any suggestions of keeping your babies as babies please let me know!

The title is about me (Ryan, too, I guess. Though he's much more grown up than me).

We are officially in the process of buying a house.
Aaaaahhhhhh!!! Scary, I know!

In my mind there are a few things in life that serve as rights of passage into becoming a grown up:
Graduating college
Having a career
Having children
Buying a house

And other things that go along with those.

Our offer on the house was accepted and the house inspection went well. All that is left now is the closing and everything else that builds up into preparing for the closing. I will spare you all of the boring details (mostly because they're boring and I have trouble explaining them).

Below is a picture of the front of the house and I explained the house a little bit.


The house was foreclosed on and so we got a good price. It has four bedrooms. There is a built in entertainment center and an office nook right outside of the master bedroom. The kitchen is a good size and the laundry room is awesome! (I know that sounds so housewife-y of me to get excited about a laundry room, but I am what I am). There is obviously cleaning and some small cosmetic repairs we will be doing. We are very excited and we are planning to close in the middle of March.
