Girl Time

After trying to put little H to bed twice and failing twice, I figured "Hey, maybe she's not ready for bed..." I got her out of her crib, made her a bottle and took her into my bedroom and set up a nice quiet atmosphere that would help her get into bedtime mode. As you can see in the photo, she is laying in my lap on our bed having her bottle and watching her absolute favorite movie, Finding Nemo. I never knew that 8 month olds could/would get into a movie like this. She is obsessed. Now, of course she won't sit and watch the whole thing but she'll watch a good 10-15 minutes straight and then she'll play and maybe take a break here and there from playing to catch a little more of the movie. I now have the whole entire movie memorized, so if anyone needs to know anything about this movie, just give me a call! Seriously.

This is a picture of Ryan's side of the bed empty :(.

He is in Dallas, TX right now on a trip with the school doing some meeting/interviewing for a job. Our fingers are crossed that something will happen because my sister is in Dallas and Ryan has two brothers in that area as well! Please keep your fingers crossed (and anything else you can cross) and keep us in your prayers. I am so ready to be somewhere closer to family and somewhere warmer. Ryan is ready, too. He wants to be able to golf year round.

How sad a half empty bed. But now you can stretch out. I'll cross my fingers, legs, arms, hair... well you get the point and I don't think I have any more body parts that bend like that.

thats awesome lol. just get ready, the older they get, the more attached to certain movies they get. my sister has a 5 and a 3 year old, whenever we visit, we can only watch the same movies over and over and over again lol

I just crossed my eyes, hope that helps.

(This is John, by the way. I'm too lazy to log Katie out, log me in, log me out again, then log her back in...)
