Thankful Thursday

Things are quite busy around here.

We are closing on our new house tomorrow so I am doing all of the final packing and cleaning.

Harper is taking a nap right now so I'm taking advantage of that to do a quick post. If I don't do it then I will get out of the habit. And I know that all of my millions of devoted readers out there don't want that.

Things I am thankful for today:

Emergen-C - I woke up on Monday feeling a little sick. Just the usual scratchy throat, headache and sniffles. I got nervous about being sick and pregnant and moving. I remembered that my awesome brother, Ezra, told me about Emergen-C at Christmas time when I was sick. I took a packet of Emergen-C Monday night and was completely better by Tuesday night. It was magic. My brother takes a packet a day and he never gets sick. I am so thankful for this stuff so that I can have the health and energy that I'm going to need this weekend.
Spot Shot- As I was packing yesterday, I taped up the box and wrote the contents on it with a Sharpie. I set it down and Harper got a hold of it. I watched her for a second to see if she could figure out how to open it and she was struggling. I let her keep it and started on another box. I finished packing the other box and I noticed that it was a little too quiet. I looked into the living room and Harper had opened the marker and colored all over the box I had just finished packing. I walked over to her and noticed a small mark on the wall and carpet. I immediately took the marker away and started working on getting the mark off of the wall. I just kind of scraped it off the wall and scrubbed it with a baby wipe. Then I used Spot Shot on the carpet and it came right out!!! I'm so thankful for the Spot Shot because we have to have a walk through in order to get our deposit back and if those marks were there it would have been bad.

Harper - Even though she gets into the markers, she's awesome. There are times when she is very clingy and wants me to hold her all of the time, but I've learned that if I have her help me put things into the boxes she's a lot easier to deal with. She loves helping and being involved.

Ryan - He is working four 10 hour days this week (M-Th) so that he can have the day off tomorrow (Friday) to go to the closing meeting and do the move. He has been so helpful with Harper when he gets home from work. He has also been really good about looking for a fridge and washer and dryer for us. I love him so much!

Never thought I would get the one finger salute while looking at my little sisters blog...

Haha what's with the finger? I'm guessing it was supposed to be a picture of Spot Shot or something and not a profanity. Good luck with moving!
