FHE

It's kind of hard to keep the attention of a baby for a very long time. So, it is difficult to think of ideas for Family Home Evening, but we have found something that works well and Harper loves it. We have a painting by Greg Olson of Christ and a little girl that hangs in our living room. It was a wedding gift from Ryan's siblings. We love it! One night for FHE a little while ago, Ryan took Harper over to the painting so that we could start teaching her who Jesus is. She got so excited! She will kick and wiggle and try to grab the picture. We like to think that it is because she recognizes Jesus, but it might be just because of her reflection. It's still pretty cute.

Don't worry, that's not the only thing we do every week for FHE. We let Harper look at the painting each week and then after that Ryan and I have our own lesson together. We try to have Harper listen but if she gets bored, at least we've done something with her.

Awww Cute! Beckett just crawls around while we do the lesson, but he is learning to fold his arms really good and he always leads the music :)

I think she totally recognizes him, but hopefully she will refer to him as Jesus instead of how Ellie refers to him as "that guy."

This is precious. I do think that babies come into this world remembering this from beyond the veil.
