What the....?!

I can't believe that my daughter is already one half of a year old. It blows my mind. She is an angel baby and I couldn't ask for a better kid. She turned 6 months on the 16th of January. I can't give you her exact stats because we haven't gone in for her 6 month check up yet. We are switching insurance companies, so when that is final (in about a week) we'll go in and I'll be able to let you know.

I can tell you a few fun things about her though.

She is sitting up like a champ!
She is quite the roly poly. She doesn't like being on her stomach for very long but if she needs to roll over to get a toy or something, she'll do it and then roll right back to her back.
When she is on her stomach we like to put things just out of her reach and she'll stick her bum up and look like she's about to scoot but she can't quite figure out how. We think she's getting close to doing the Army crawl.
She loves solid foods. Except meats. I tried feeding her turkey today and she hated it! I don't blame her, it smelled like cat food. Her favorite vegetable is sweet potatoes and her favorite fruit is bananas.
She loves her daddy. Whenever she hears the back door she always looks back to see him and when he comes into her view she lights up. It's my favorite part of the day!

These are some pictures I took on her 6 month bday. Thanks to Annie for the adorable bow. She's just about to the point to where the bow is the size of her head instead of bigger. And thanks to Gigi for the cute outfit. It's precious! The last picture is what she does when she's tired. Her head just gets too heavy and she can't hold it up any longer. I love it!

6 months has flewn by fast. It's exciting and sad. The girls are more exciting and fun then the have ever been though. I told Sean that Lexi's ham smelled like cat food. Isn't that horrible! When meat is mixed with other things it isn't as bad. I am excited for Lexi to eat what we eat so we won't have to deal with baby food anymore but that would mean more growing up!
